The Lush Prize

The Lush Prize is the largest prize fund in the non-animal testing sector, with a prize fund of £250,000 to support initiatives to end or replace animal testing.

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Lush Prize, and will close on Friday 28th November 2025.

The Lush Prize has five main prize categories: Science, Training, Public Awareness, Political Advocacy, and Young Researcher.

In addition there are Recognition Awards, for Political Achievement, Major Science Collaboration and the Andrew Tyler Award for outstanding contribution towards ending animal testing.

Political Advocacy Prize

For exceptional individuals, groups or organisations pushing for change.

About The Prize

The Lush Prize rewards initiatives across science and campaigning that work to end or replace animal testing, particularly in the area of toxicology research.

Between 2012 and 2024, Lush Prize has given £2.94 million to 140 winners in 36 countries (in every continent except Antarctica!).
