As well as meeting all of the Award winners, we had entertainment from:
- award-winning poet, musician, playwrite, actor, professor of poetry and activist for human and animal rights Benjamin Zephaniah. He performed a poem specially produced for the Prize Awards titled ‘Quite Lush’.
- Korean dance troupe Joa Dance Academy, performing a spectacular interpretation of the cruelty of animal testing for cosmetics
- Big data animation, a bespoke animation created by Wayne McCauslin, looking at the key reasons for supporting non-animal testing, the concept of ‘big data’ and whether it could provide a viable alternative to animal testing.
Benjamin Zephaniah reads ‘Quite Lush’, a poem created specially for the Lush Prize 2020 Awards Ceremony.
