Marize Campos Valadares

Marize is a Full Professor of Toxicology at the Pharmacy Faculty, Universidade Federal de Goiás, Brazil. She has also been a Visiting Professor at the University of Tübingen, Germany since 2023.

Marize is also a Member of the Cosmetics Technical Chamber (CATEC), ANVISA Brazil and was previously

a Member of the International Cooperation for Cosmetic Regulation (ICCR), 2023;
Coordinator of the Alternative Methods area in the ASTOXLATIN, 2020-2023;
Vice-President of the Brazilian Society of Toxicology, 2020-2022;
Representative of the National Network of Alternative Methods linked to the Brazilian Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation, 2020-2022.

She is the Principal Investigator of an established research group of 20 people in New Approach Methodologies and won the Training Prize in the Lush Prize 2018.
