2026 Judges
The panel includes seven distinguished scientists and campaigners who served as judges in previous years, and we welcome 2024 Young Researcher Prize winner Zheng Tan. The panel will be completed by the addition of a Lush staff member and a Lush customer.
Ellen Fritsche
Ellen is Professor of Environmental Toxicology at the Heinrich-Heine-University of Düsseldorf, Germany and holds a Guest Professorship at the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, China.
Kasturi Mahadik
Dr Kasturi Mahadik is a scientist and science communicator. She leads the Centre for Predictive Human Model Systems, a premier science and policy centre that advocates for human-relevant research in India.
Kamel Mansouri
Kamel is a computational chemist who obtained his PhD in computational chemistry from the University of Milano Bicocca, Italy, as a Marie Curie fellow (eco-itn).
Troy Seidle
Troy is Vice President, Research and Toxicology at Humane Society International. In this role he leads HSI's global team of campaigners, lobbyists and scientists working to end animal testing for cosmetics.
Gilly Stoddart
Dr Gilly Stoddart is the associate director of the PETA International Science Consortium Ltd, and is also PETA UK’s Head of Science.
Kristie Sullivan
Kristie Sullivan M.P.H. leads the Education and Outreach programs at IIVS (Institute for In Vitro Sciences), organising training to advance acceptance and use of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs).
Marize Campos Valadares
Marize is a Full Professor of Toxicology at the Pharmacy Faculty, Universidade Federal de Goiás, Brazil, and a Visiting Professor at the University of Tübingen, Germany.
Dr Zheng Tan
Dr Zheng Tan is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for Blood Research at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada.
