Pilar Badía

Pilar is the Lush Customer judge for this year’s Prize and is a Secondary School teacher in northern Spain.

After graduating in Journalism she continued her studies of Spanish Language and Literature to work as a teacher in a High School. Meanwhile, she got involved in the educational role of animal advocacy.

Since 2010 she has run, together with other teachers, the Aula Animal project, where she organises conferences and workshops for other teachers. One of the most important aims of this organisation is to show other teachers alternatives to the use of animals in their classes.She also does talks in schools and workshops for families as well.

Pavel Poc is a member of the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety in the European Parliament.

Gill is an animal rights scientist and writer who specialises in non-animal alternatives to animal research and testing.

Lisbeth is professor of Toxicology at the University of Copenhagen and a member of the board of The Danish 3R Center.

Dr Kelly BéruBé is the Director of the Lung & Particle Research Group at the School of Biosciences, Cardiff University, UK.
Borami Seo

Borami Seo is Policy Manager at Korea Animal Rights Advocates, working with policy makers to bring a ban on cosmetics animal testing.
Andrew Tyler

Andrew Tyler is the director of Animal Aid, Europe’s largest animal rights organisation and one of the first in the world.
Professor Thales Tréz

Thales is a biologist and full time professor at the Institute of Science and Techonology (Alfenas Federal University) in Brazil.
Troy Seidle

Troy Seidle is Director of Research & Toxicology for Humane Society International. He manages the AXLR8 project.

Suzy has been selected as the Lush Staff Judge for the 2014 Prize. She has worked for Lush for the past two years, in both the stores and now in Customer Services.
