Lush Prize Presentation in China

The Lush Prize is very pleased to be welcomed as a special guest to attend and present at the 7th International Conference of Alternative Methods in Science City, Guangzhou, China this week (10-14 April).

Day one of the conference is under way, with the opening address provided by Professor Shujun Cheng of CCARE (The Chinese Centre for Alternatives Research & Evaluation) and chair of the conference. Lush Prize welcomed Prof. Cheng as a keynote speaker at our UK conference in 2015.

Keynote speakers so far include Prof Horst Spielmann of Freie Universitat Berlin, who addressed the audience on ‘History of alternative test methods in Europe and lessons for the 21st century’.

Our presentation to introduce the Lush Prize to conference delegates will be at 3.30pm today.

The Lush Prize team in Hong Kong has worked hard to prepare an informative timeline information booth, to network with visitors and provide more information on the Prize categories and how individuals and organisations can apply for an award. They will also be showing the Lush Prize film.
